Bois D’Arc Winter Sparrows
February 18 @ 8:30 am - 11:30 am
Free
FREE—Open to the public!
Join GOAS for a morning where one may learn more about the many sparrows which don’t nest in our area of Missouri, but spend the winter in the lower Midwest and across the East, between October and May.
Participants will likely observe White-throated, White-crowned, Harris’s, Song, Savannah, and Fox Sparrows, with more possible!
Does not meet Birdability guidelines. We’ll hike through stubble and downed summer vegetation; long pants and sturdy boots are suggested since multiflora rose and blackberry vines are present, too.
