The Women Veterans of SWMO American Legion Post 1214 invite you to an Open House and Veteran Owned, Woman Owned, and Locally Owned Business Expo and Community Resource Fair!

• Over 25 booths of specialty products, supportive services, and even entrepreneurial assistance.
• Many opportunities for visitors to win fun prizes and kids can visit the patriotic activity fun table!
• Event will be held inside the Historical American Legion Goad-Ballinger Memorial Post 69 located in
downtown Springfield at 149 Memorial Plaza. (In the same parking lot as Jordan Valley Ice Park)
• Military Veterans, Spouses, Families, First Responders, and the General Public welcome!
• The American Legion Post 69 Kitchen will be open for sale of menu items made to order.

We’ve added Veterans Healthcare System of the Ozarks Post 9/11 Transition team who will be doing PACT Act Screenings, Flu Shots, and VA Earned Entitlement Enrollment Assistance!

“Our Post will be celebrating 10 years in 2024 and we wanted to invite the community to find out what the American Legion is all about while helping fellow Veterans access the services they may qualify for! Partnering for an event with local entrepreneurs and community support providers we can show Springfieldians and Veterans in the area the positive impact our 90 member-strong post has been able to make in the lives of others!” said Lisa Searles, Chairwoman of the event.
