Ah, late October. What better place to spend a fall morning than at the Chiles’ family place? The brothers Chiles, their children, wives, a cousin, and assorted neighbors have improved much at Rockspan Farm with research and guidance from government and non-profit agencies. This site along the Sac River is a study in restoration projects. A visit is a window on land learning ethics. See more, as a lot has changed since GOAS last visited!
Does not meet Birdability guidelines. Moderate walking, grades, and uneven surfaces.
