Voters registered in Greene County have another early voting option for the April 4 general municipal election.

Starting Tuesday, March 28, the Library Center at 4653 S. Campbell Ave. will serve as an additional location for in-person absentee voting, Greene County Clerk Shane Schoeller announced. Under Missouri law, voters are allowed to vote in-person absentee within two weeks of an election without having to give a reason.

Voting will be available at the Library Center March 28-31 and Monday, April 3, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. To vote in-person absentee you must present one of the approved forms of photo identification:

  • A nonexpired Missouri driver or non-driver license
  • A nonexpired military ID, including a veteran’s ID card
  • A nonexpired United States passport
  • Another photo ID issued by the United States or the state of Missouri, which is either not expired or expired after the date of the most recent general election

In-person absentee voting is also available at the Greene County Elections Center, 1126 N. Boonville Ave., Monday to Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., up to and including the day prior to the election. Voting also will be available at the Elections Center on Saturday, April 1, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

Sample ballots are available in the County Clerk’s office and at the Greene County Clerk’s elections website. For more information, call the Office of the County Clerk at 417-868-4060 or email AbsenteeVoting@greenecountymo.gov.
