Betty Ann Gregg, 98 of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023.
Betty was united in marriage to Joseph Gregg on December 12, 1943, in Springfield, MO. and to this union, five children were born: Larry-deceased (Carole); Kelly (Susan); Kenneth; Melody Vernon and Valerie Leftwich (Jim). Betty was a long-time member of Dale Street Methodist Church, now Pathways United Methodist Church, in Springfield. She grew up in Springfield and worked at KWTO Radio.
Along with her children, Betty is survived by 14 grandchildren: Terra’ Chrissy, Angela, Zachary, Isaac, Seth, Marjean, Michael, Levi, Adam, Anna, Hart, Wesley and Kyle. She is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren and a number of great-great grandchildren, one niece and many friends.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 30, 2023, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with burial to follow, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Memorial donations are suggested to Patriot Paws Service Pets or to another Veteran’s Charity.
