Charles “Butch” Smith, 76 of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2023, in his home.
He always tried to make everyone happy and laugh. He never met a stranger, no matter where he went, sooner or later, someone he knew, would popup. Butch was a kind, generous, and giving man.
Charles is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Judy Smith, his son, Earl Smith, and his daughter, Judy Forgey, three grandsons: Dayton Forgey, Kyle Forgey, and Connor Smith, one brother, Billy Smith, and one step-daughter, Judi Ryals and her husband, Chris, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Butch requested no services or burial upon his passing.
Final arrangements are being made by Greenlawn Funeral Home.
