Daniel “Danny” Lee Gambriel, 67 of Willard, passed away in Mercy Hospital, Springfield, after a brave but short battle with cancer on August 27, 2023.
He met his future wife, Diane Moore while cruising down Kearney Street in one of his favorite muscle cars. They were united in marriage on June 25, 1977, in Springfield, Missouri. From this union three children were born: Darcy, Dana, and Drew. Danny worked for nearly 30 years for Paul Meuller Company.
Danny is survived by his wife of over 46 years, Diane Gambriel; a daughter and her husband, Dana and Brandon Price; a son, Drew Gambriel; five grandchildren, Ethan, Payton, Braydon, Adalyn, and Liam; his sister and her husband, Becky and Randy Lauthern; a sister-in-law and her husband, Teresa and Randy Stapp; a brother-in-law and his wife, Mark and Jackie Moore; numerous nephews, nieces, other family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 1, 2023, at Bellview Cemetery, Springfield, Missouri.
Greenlawn Funeral Home has been entrusted with the final arrangements.
