Donald Goddard, 90 of Clever, passed away, Sunday, February 12, 2023, in his home after a long illness.
He was a member of the Promise Church, in Clever, MO. He was a retired owner-operator of Alexanders Tire Shop, for 29 years, He also served as a Deputy Sherriff for 6 years, under Sheriff Mickey Owen, and he was a diesel mechanic for Trail Liner for several years.
He is survived by his loving wife Ina Goddard of almost 65 years, four daughters: Dorothea Baldwin, Donnita Smith and her husband, Pat, Dona Campbell and her husband, John, and Lana Anderson, three sons: Douglas Goddard and his wife, Rhonda, Timothy Goddard Sr. and his wife, Tammy, and JD Derrick and wife Lynn. Also, a bonus son, David Goddard. He is also survived by his 99 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, and one on the way, two sisters: Ireita McCafferty, and Virginia Lowery, one brother: Lee Rogers and several nieces and nephews, In 1952, Donald was also married to Dorothy Young and had three children: Donald Goddard Jr. who preceded him in death and Dorthea and Donnita.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2023, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with burial to follow, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
