Flora “Jean” Link , 96 of Springfield, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, August 30, at the Republic Nursing and Rehab Center.
She married the love of her life, Leo Duane Link on January 9th, 1954. They enjoyed many happy years together until his death on August 26, 1983.
She is survived by her two children: Daughter Donna Sue (Larry) Jansen of Billings, MO and her son Lyndel Duane (Jody) Link of Republic, MO. Six grandchildren and five great grandchildren, and preceded in death by Great Grandson, Jameson Welch October 2014. Also surviving are 3 sisters: Kathryn Ross, Republic, MO. Laura (Howard) Hamilton, O’Fallon, IL., Marilyn (Calvin) Franz, Hot Springs Village, AR. and sister-in-law Mrs. Charles (Velva) Whitlow of Republic, MO and Mrs. Hank (Janet) Whitlow of Billings, MO.
Visitation will be held at Greenlawn Funeral Home East on Saturday 9/2, 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm with services to follow.
