Hazel G. Stelmack, 88 of Ozark, formerly of Springfield, passed from this life March 22, 2023, with family by her side.
Hazel graduated from Leominster High School in Leominster, MA and David Hale Fanning Trade School in Worcester, MA. After graduation, Hazel worked as a licensed practical nurse in nursing homes in Leominster and Oxford, MA. After moving to Missouri, Hazel was a homemaker, raising her family and enjoying going to church, baking, going for rides, and especially spending time with family and being “Nana.”
She is survived by a son, Theodore Stelmack; a daughter, Cheryl Strothkamp and her husband, Mark; grandchildren, Sara Villanueva, Grant Strothkamp, Courtney Stelmack, and Tyler Strothkamp; great-grandchildren, Eric, Ellyanna, Emma, and Theodore; extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 27, 2023, at Walnut Lawn Funeral Home.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Ron Morein officiating.
Burial will follow at Hopedale Cemetery in Ozark, Missouri.
