Jewel Rae Nichols, 69 of Springfield, passed away on August 24, 2023, surrounded by her family.
She was devoted to her husband of 49 years, Steven Nichols, and together they created a loving and nurturing home. Jewel cherished her role as a mother to her sons, Brandon and Matthew Nichols, and was immensely proud of the individuals they grew up to be. Jewel found solace in her career as a massage therapist.
She is survived by her immediate family and brothers Ed (Mary) Blunt, Skip (Bev) Blunt and her sister Alice (Clyde) Sweeten, her 5 grandchildren: Hunter, Presley, Brantlee, Izzie, & Mattie, and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation for a celebration of the life of Jewel Rae Nichols will be held at Greenlawn South on Thursday, September 7th from 5-8pm.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects and share stories of their cherished memories during that time.
