Kathleen “Kay” Ellen Applegate, 81 of Springfield, passed away Friday, March 17, 2023 in Cox South Hospital, Springfield, Missouri.
On December 28, 1996 Kay was united in marriage to Kenneth Applegate. Kay was known for her dedicated work ethic, working for Fasco Manufacturing for many years until she retired. Kay was a long-time resident of the Ozark and Chadwick area, where she raised her family.
She is lovingly survived by her children Terry Campbell, Jody Phillips and Charles Phillips; her sister Joann Payne; numerous grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2023, in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral and begin at 1:00.
Burial will follow in Prospect Cemetery, Ozark, Missouri.
