Michael D. McCoy, 76 of Springfield, passed away on January 5, 2023, at Mercy Hospital.
Michael and Sharon opened McCoy Iron & Metal in 1990 which is today run by three generations of McCoys, continuing the family legacy. Michael was an avid world traveler who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and sightseeing, adventuring through Alaska, Africa, Australia, and beyond. He was always ready to go to Las Vegas or to an Eagles concert and enjoyed living life to its fullest with family and friends.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 9, 2023, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
The Rosary service will be Sunday, January 8, 2023, at 6:30pm, followed by the visitation until 8:30 pm, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
