Norma June Ennis, 86 of Springfield, passed peacefully from this life on Saturday, September 16, 2023, surrounded by loved ones and listening to “How Great Thou Art.”

Later in life, she continued her education to become a Registered Nurse. She dreamed of serving God in medical missions overseas but came to realize that her mission field was here at home, working in hospitals and taking care of her ever-growing family.

She is survived by her fourteen children and their spouses, Phillip and Paula Rogers, Mark Rogers, Rebecca Cavener, Aaron and Susan Rogers, Darrell and Robin Freeman, Maya and Doug Powell, Cheryl Cassidy, Chrissy and Calvin Furrow, David and Allien Freeman, Alicia and Jon Foster, Vala and Phil Long, Rima Freeman, Enoch and Brandi Freeman, and Leah and Nate Orphan; over forty grandchildren and almost fifty great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Norma’s life will be held at Maranatha Chapel, 233 E Norton Rd, Springfield, Missouri, on Wednesday, September 20 at 2:00 p.m.

Family visitation will begin one hour before at 1:00 p.m.
