Shirley Mae (Kneeland) Murr, 87 of Nixa, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, January 15th, 2023 at Township Assisted Living Facility .
She graduated from Grace Hospital School of Nursing. She was united in marriage to Laverne W. Murr on November 12th, 1960, in Choteau Montana. Shirley retired as a RN from Hospice Compassus at the age of 80, after 20 years of ministry. She was a member of River Stone Fellowship Church in Nixa.
Survivors include her three children, Michael Murr and wife Brenda; Kathryn Berg and husband Timothy, David Murr and wife Stephanie, and 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister Beverly (Kneeland) Patrick; and a host of family and friends.
A celebration of Shirley’s life will be at 3pm, Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Greenlawn Funeral Home East.
