Mr. UT Van Nguyen, 68 of Springfield, peacefully departed this world on September 16, 2023, in Springfield, Missouri.
Born on October 10, 1954, in Cambodia. Mr. Ut Van Nguyen emigrated to the United States and proudly acquired American citizenship. The majority of his professional journey was dedicated to the culinary arts, during which he assumed ownership and operation of several Chinese restaurants in the Ozarks region.
Mr. UT Van Nguyen is survived by his devoted spouse, Mrs. Ary Thach, his daughters, Ryda Nguyen and Thida Thach, and his sons, Chea Nguyen, Mark Nguyen, and Bill Nguyen.
The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, September 20,2023 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm. At Greenlawn Funeral Home South, with a prayer service to follow at 3pm.
This occasion will provide an opportunity for collective reflection , story-sharing, and remembrance of the life of an exceptional individual.
