Robert Booth Murray III, 52 of Springfield, passed away on June 13th, 2022.

Robert was born on May 4th, 1970 in Springfield, Missouri. After winning the State Championship in Golf he graduated early from Glendale High School and attended the University of Missouri on a full-ride golf scholarship where he earned his Bachelors in Finance and Real Estate Already having that entrepreneur spirit during his college years he started Guru Golf where he developed and obtained seven patents for electronic golf putting device which resulted in selling units through Sharper Image and Brookstone. After graduating college he followed in his Grandfather and Father’s footsteps and joined R.B Murray Co. in Springfield. As a Developer and Real Estate Broker, he was voted “12 People To Know In Springfield” by the Springfield Business Journal. He was a member of CCIM and SIOR and opened the R.B. Murray satellite office in Branson, Missouri.

He is survived by his wife, Kristine Marie Murray, of Ventura, California. He is also survived by his father, Robert Booth Murray Jr., his sister Jill Murray North and her husband Nolan North and sons, Cooper Murray North and Jarrett North, Aunt Carol Marquart from Roark, Aunt Terri Murray and Uncle David Crockett Murray, Aunt Joan Murray Clinkenbeard, and a large loving extended family. He is preceded in death by his Mother, Darlane Murray, Aunt Louola Blankenship Hicks, Uncle Jarrett Holland Murray, Uncle Joseph Warner Hicks, and his Grandparents, Algia Mildred Blankenship, Robert Booth Murray Sr. and Jule Jarrett Murray.

Private family services will be held with burial in Maple Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Surfrider Foundation or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
