Alicia Ann Ricketts, 60 of Springfield, passed away Thursday, November 9, 2023.
Post graduation, Alicia attended classes before gaining employment at Peterbilt of Springfield. There she worked in many departments before settling into the corporate accounting profession. Alicia was a loyal and dedicated employee to Peterbilt of Springfield since January 1989, nearly 35 years. In 1984, Alicia gave birth to her only daughter, Jenay. It was in the summer of 1989 that Steve Ricketts was introduced to Alicia at a house party, and they instantly fell in love!
She is survived by her husband, Steve Ricketts, 70; daughter, Jenay Divin, 39, and husband, Benjamin; grand-nugget, Henry David, 21 months; sister, Stacey Owens; brothers, Edward, Sam, and Pete; and several nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends, and loved ones.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring of 2024.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
