Clifford “CJ” Irwin Rutherford II, 35 of Nixa, died August 30, 2023.
He worked in maintenance for Nixa Schools. He enjoyed sports shooting, K.C. Royals, K.C. Chiefs, St. Louis Cardinals, and playing video games with his friends. He was a loving “cat dad” to Panther and Salem.
Survivors include: his wife Jennifer Rutherford of Nixa; his father, Clifford and wife Bonita Rutherford of Grain Valley; his in-laws, Tammy Humphrey and husband Joe of Nixa; Paul Fletcher of Sedalia; brother in law Jeremy Fletcher and wife Erica of Lebanon; stepsisters, Michelle Williams and husband David of Grain Valley and Denise McGraw of Grain Valley; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. Immediately before the funeral at the funeral home.
The burial will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Longview Cemetery in Kansas City, Missouri, under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Nixa Schools’ school lunch funding program.
