Helen Lorine (Sutter) Woosley, 104 of Springfield, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 10, 2023, in Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Missouri.
Helen married the love of her life, Emette Woosley, on January 5, 1942. Helen was a wonderful mother, wife, and friend to everyone she met. She was also a longstanding member of National Avenue Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). She retired from the MFA Milling Company.
Helen is survived by her sons David and husband AJ of Lawrence, Kansas, and Robert and wife Jonna of Springfield; grandsons Duane Vincent of Springfield, Jonathan and wife Mari of Bolivar, Jeffrey of Springfield, and Dustin of Springfield; granddaughters Teresa (Norris) and husband David of Battlefield, Karen Vincent and partner Don Garner of Ozark, Amanda (Bons) and husband Scott of Warrensburg, Illinois, Stephanie (Loots) of Garnett, Kansas, and husband TJ of Claycomo, Missouri, and Wendy (Featherston) and husband Stuart of Springfield; great-grandchildren Amber, Brian, Brandon, Ashley, Cody, Shelby, Ian, Tilde, Xavier, Ellipses, Eleanor, Eve, Michael and Braden; and great-great-grandchildren, Riley, Avery, Zane, Gage, Luke, and Rossi.
Visitation will be held from noon to 1:00 PM, Thursday, September 14, 2023, at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 PM in the funeral home. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
