Rebecca Anne Bright, 63 of Springfield, passed away at 5:45pm August 31st, 2023 at Cox Hospital after a hard fight against breast cancer.

She was a proud member of the Glendale “Scotties” during her time at the local highschool in 1978. “Becky” worked at Forvis (formerly BKD) for 41 years and it is a legacy she leaves behind. On March 3, 2006 Becky married Roy L. Bright and celebrated 17 beautiful and loving years of marriage. She was a wonderful wife, mother, friend and supporter.

Roy survives her along with her two children Brandon and Ashley (JT). Becky also leaves behind her father Boyd Sade, brother Steve Sade (Heather) and a slew of nieces, nephews : Taylor Sade (Patricia), Tanner Sade (Holly) as well as Tanner’s children Merrick and Maia.

A celebration of life will be held at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home from 5:30 to 7:30pm on Friday, September 8, 2023. Funeral services to to be announced for the family.
