Rose Ann (Johnson) Dalton, 75 of Springfield, left this earth and went to her heavenly home on Monday, September 18, 2023 at 12:56 p.m.
She was a devoted wife of 54 years. She was an amazing mother and Nanny who cherished her family and the time that she spent with them. Rose Ann was a faithful member of Second Baptist Church for 50 years and enjoyed singing in the choir for 45 of those years.
Survivors include her husband Steve Dalton and 3 daughters, Heather Kirk, Kim Marlin and husband Greg, Piper Wagstaff and husband Chris. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren, Derek Marlin and wife Tiffany, Dalton Kirk, Owen Marlin, and one great-grandchild Easton Marlin. She was also survived by many other deeply loved family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Second Baptist Church in Springfield, MO on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at 11:30 a.m.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Graveside service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests the donation of Bibles to be made through Gideon’s International. (www.gideons.org)
