Terri Shanks, 70 of Willard, passed away in her sleep on September 17, 2023, due to her existing heart condition complicated by her continued fight with lung cancer.

In her younger years, she was a softball player and bowler. She truly enjoyed being a team member of the family’s Women’s Softball and Coed Teams. She loved traveling with her mother, sisters, daughters and nieces to bowling tournaments and casinos.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson Cole Iorg, brothers – Bennett Shanks, David Shanks and Jimmy Shanks, sisters Ellen Brayfield, Becky Fullerton, Carmen Bein and Sandi Drake and nephews Travis Shanks and David Fullerton.

She is survived by daughters, Randi Iorg /husband Andy with whom she resided and Jamie Rainey. Ta-Ta is also survived by grandsons – Billy Iorg /wife Alissa, Dylan Leach and Gabriel Leach. Great granddaughters – Vidalia Iorg, Millie Iorg and Lynleigh Cole Iorg (arriving in January). Brothers – Pat Shanks/wife Carolyn and Mike Shanks/wife Diana. Sisters – Bobbi Jameson and Scotti Inmon/husband Gene. Brother in-laws Bill Fullerton and Tom Drake and sister in-law Becky Shanks. Her fur baby and companion, Zitto, and TOO many to list nephews, nieces, bonus children, extended family and friends.

The family invites everyone to share memories of Terri on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 pm in Greenlawn Funeral Home, North, Springfield, Missouri.

  A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at 2:00 pm also in the funeral home.
