Thomas Edward Stever, 87 of Springfield, passed from this life on November 14, 2023.
After his retirement, Tom and Annie spent many years in their mobile home, traveling throughout the United States. Tom was a member of Abou Ben Adhem Shrine. He served in several capacities, most memorable as a part of Hospital Dads who transported children to the Shriners Hospital in St. Louis. He also volunteered many hours at a Help Give Hope.
He is also survived by his wife of sixty-nine years, Annie (Webb) Stever, his daughters Nancy Boatright (Bobby) and Debbie Poindexter (David) and three grandsons, Shawn Poindexter, Brent Boatright, and Brad Boatright, along with eight great-grandchildren. Tom is also survived by two brothers Bob (Francis) of Corpus Christi, Texas and Keith (Georgia) of Strafford. In addition, he is survived by a host of extended family and friends, including those he went to church with as a member of Schweitzer Church.
Graveside services will be Friday, November 17, 10:30 AM at the Danforth Cemetery located East on Division and North on Farm Road 213.
