Janetta “Jan” Bishop, 81 of Springfield, passed away on May 18, 2024, after a brief illness.
She had most recently enjoyed the fellowship at South Haven Baptist Church. She worked in the laboratory at Cox North and Cox South, and she was the Quality Control Coordinator of Cox Lab when she retired.
Jan’s heart overflowed with love for her family, including her daughters Andrea Stout (Randy) and Beth Owen (Mike), and her cherished grandchildren Whitney Fuemmeler (Brock), Olivia Hopper, Jenna Owen, Ian Hopper, Shannen Young (Quinton), Jordan Stout, Megan Stout, and new great-grand baby Silas Young. Her sisters Linda Sheaffer, Sally Skinner, and Nancy Bartow, cousins and other family members along with many friends, also held special places in her heart.
Services for Janetta will be at 11:00 am Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at South Haven Baptist Church.
Interment will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Aldrich, Missouri.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at Greenlawn Funeral Home East
