Lost & Found Grief Center is hosting its annual Run & Remember 5K event on May 20th at Jordan Valley Park.
The event begins at 5:30 p.m. and will include a 5K run/1-mile Memory Walk, family-friendly activities, Memorial Garden, and Remembrance Program for individuals to honor their loved one who died.
Run/Walk
Participants may run a 5K or complete a 1-mile Memory Walk. To reduce trail congestion, runners are encouraged
to arrive between 5:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Online registration before May 14th is $29 for adults and $19 for ages 12 and under. The cost is $35 for adults and $20 for ages 12 and under on the day of the event.
Memorial Garden
Anyone can purchase an 18”x24” memorial sign to honor someone who has died. Signs will be on display in
a Memorial Garden at Jordan Valley Park on the day of the event. Anyone wishing to purchase a sign must submit the name and a photo of their loved one by May 5th. Signs cost $55 each.
Remembrance Program
The Remembrance Program is a thoughtful initiative aimed at honoring and preserving the memory of those
who have died. Lost & Found Grief Center believes that by coming together as a community, we can help provide help, hope, and healing to those who are grieving. Through various activities such as a guest bell choir, participant speakers, and audience engagement,
our program celebrates the lives and legacies of those who have died, while offering a space for healing and reflection.
