NAWIC Southwest Missouri #366, the local chapter, invites all local women who work in any position in the construction industry to attend the events scheduled throughout the week.

The WIC Week schedule includes:

Monday: Proclamation Ceremony with the City of Springfield at Noon (Busch Municipal Building)
Tuesday: Trivia Night Fundraise
Wednesday: Volunteer Opportunity at Habitat for Humanity
Thursday: Private Jobsite Tour of Convoy of Hope followed by Social Hour
Friday: Women in Construction Lunch

Personal Protective Equipment will be required for the jobsite tour. Event details and links for online registrations are available on our Facebook page @nawicsouthwestmissouri.

The focus of Women in Construction (WIC) Week is to highlight women as a viable component of the construction industry. WIC Week also provides an occasion for NAWIC’s thousands of members across the country to raise awareness of the opportunities available for women in the construction industry and to emphasize the growing role of women in the industry. It is also a time for local chapters to give back to their communities.

Please contact Dana Haase at dana.haase@nabholz.com or by phone at 417-520-6711 for additional information regarding WIC Week.
