Editors note: This story has been updated to note that all Greene County offices including the courthouse will be closed all day Monday.

Springfield and Greene County — and much of the Ozarks — are under a winter weather advisory today.

The National Weather Service predicts the freezing rain will continue until Monday afternoon when it turns to rain.

Due to road conditions, City Utilities Transit services will not be operating until later today. An update will be provided as travel conditions improve.

All Greene County offices, including the courthouse, will be closed Monday. Cases will be rescheduled.

Those planning to drive this morning should first check Missouri Department of Transportation’s road condition map.
