William George Glasner, 84 of Springfield, peacefully passed away on April 21, 2024.
He joined the United States Airforce and was united in marriage to Verna (Jean) Smith. He was known for his dedication to his work as a Refrigeration Air Condition Foreman at the John Cochran VA Hospital and the Jefferson Barracks VA Hospital in St. Louis.
He is survived by his son John T. Glasner and his daughter, Cathy Calhoun and son-in-law, Lyndall, and others.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Greenlawn Funeral Home South on Sunday, April 28, 2024 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
The Funeral Service to honor Bill’s life, will take place at the same location, Greenlawn Funeral Home South on Monday, April 29, 2024, at 8:30 am with Military Honors following at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, 5201 S Southwood Rd, Springfield, Missouri, on April 29, 2024, at 10:00 am.
